Brief and execution
The magazine tells Porsche technology through stories. For the article on InnoDrive in the Panamera 4S we delivered the view from above: car and development centre in one frame.
Strict rules apply at the development centre – whatever must not be seen stays out of the shot. Flight areas and subjects are agreed with the site in advance.
Equipment and permits
DJI Inspire 1 with Zenmuse X5, 20 MP photos.
Pilot and camera: Jochen Riehm.
FAQ
Does VR-Copter also deliver aerial photos instead of video?
Yes. Cinema drones produce high-resolution RAW photos for print, magazines and web – on request on the same shoot day as the moving image.
Can you fly over a plant or development site?
Only with the operator’s consent and under its conditions. Industrial sites may also have geographical restrictions; VR-Copter clarifies this in advance.
What do aerial drone photos cost?
A shoot day with a drone crew starts at €1,300 net, with Inspire 3 and cinema setup from €2,400 net, and as a combined drone, FPV and car-to-car package from €3,900 net – each including pilot, equipment, insurance and permit coordination.
