FPV Drone in Levi: Porsche Taycan Ice Drift with Cinelifter and RED Komodo
A Porsche Taycan drifts across the ice of Levi in Finnish Lapland, with drift professional Jukka Honkavuori at the wheel – the same driver as in Porsche’s well-known FPV drift video. VR-Copter flew an FPV Cinelifter with RED Komodo at −28 °C and handled camera, direction and edit.

Brief and execution
A car drifting on ice is fast, unpredictable and constantly rotating. A classic camera drone has to keep its distance – an FPV Cinelifter flies along, circles the car and dives into the drift. That creates the feeling of being right in the middle of the movement.
The cold was the toughest opponent: −28 °C takes its toll on batteries, electronics and pilot. With pre-warmed batteries and short flight windows, the Cinelifter still stayed fully operational.
