Brief and execution

“Isi & Ossi” tells the story of two young people from very different worlds – she from Heidelberg, he from Mannheim. The aerials show the locations from a perspective that gives viewers orientation and makes the contrasts of the story visible in the cityscape.

On feature films, reliability is what counts: the drone works to the shooting schedule, subject and light are agreed with director and DoP, and location permits are in place before the shoot day.

Equipment and permits

DJI Inspire 2 with Zenmuse X7 in 6K – resolution and dynamic range for the grade of a feature film.

Pilot and camera: Jochen Riehm. Flying over cities such as Mannheim and Heidelberg requires coordination with authorities and the location team.
